My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chai is a young female brown tabby kitten with white socks. She was rescued by Good Samaritan who realized they were without mom. Known as the "Tea Kittens," Chai is sister to Earl Grey.

Chai has started her kitten vaccines (e.g., FVRCP) and is negative/negative for FeL/FeLV. She is scheduled to complete her kitten vaccination series, and spay surgery late July. We estimate her birth month to be April 2024.

Chai is still a little hesitant of things, but is super affectionate and loves to cuddle. Very mischievous and curious - she does a lot of exploring during the day and her foster family finds her in random places like the top of the closet. She loves to sneak attack, and thinks she is a lot more stealthy than she actually is.

Due to her young age and affection toward her siblings, Chai is required to go to a home where another pet is present, ideally a cat.

Additional adoption info

After completing an application, a Windsor Kittens volunteer will reach out to you to talk to you about next steps including opportunities to meet the cat(s) if you haven't already done so.

Playdates will only be scheduled for approved applicants to protect the safety of our cats and foster families. Adoptions are matched based on best fit, not who applied for a particular cat first. Adoptions are not considered finalized until an adoption contract has been completed and the adoption fee has been paid to Windsor Kittens.

More about this rescue

Windsor Kittens got its start in 2022 when four women in the Windsor Park neighborhood of east Charlotte, NC came together to address the large number of community cats in their area. Since then, this grassroots organization has expanded its efforts to rescue more cats for adoption and help greater numbers of community cats through trap-spay/neuter-vaccinate-release (TNR). Windsor Kittens loves helping cats find their forever homes.
