My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Squire. This petite black lab is looking for his forever home! He is incredibly smart, sweet, and gentle.
He loves taking naps around the house, hang out outside, and play fetch. Squire is a very go with the flow guy and likes to get involved with whatever his person is doing.
He is a curious dude, but for the most part is content just being around his people. He knows sit, and we`re working on the command down.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
