Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is George, but my foster mom calls me Georgie, which she thinks I’m starting to answer to. I am working on the “going potty outside” thing and my foster mom is super impressed with my prowess. She says I’ve got a 90% success rate, whatever that means!
There are two things you need to know about me. First, I love to play. Like, that’s basically my fav thing. If you are looking for a buddy to walk with you, play fetch, go on some hikes, run around in the backyard, I’m your guy! Let’s play!
Second, I really need a family. If you live alone, then I’ll be your dog and we’ll be a family, the two of us. If you live with other people, then I’ll join your family. If you already have a dog, that’s great! If you have a cat, I won’t have any idea what that is, but I’m gonna wanna play with it, so I hope that’s cool! I really want to be part of a family and to grow up into the awesome dog my foster mom believes I can be with the help of your guidance and love (and patience).
Things I am good at: Chomping on chew toys and bones, sitting quietly on my foster mom’s lap after I’ve burned off some energy, staring into your soul with my pretty eyes (my foster mom wrote that one, sorry it’s so cheesy)!
I want you to know that I am waiting for you and I can’t wait to meet you and become part of your family. And I promise that once I do, I’ll love you forever.
George is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.
We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events!
Animal attendance is subject to change based on their availability. Please check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ for confirmed attendance the morning of the event.
