My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dino is a resilient and loving cat who has been through a lot and is now ready for his forever home. Found as an injured stray, Dino came to our shelter in desperate need of help. We provided him with a full dental workup, so he now requires his dry food to be watered down and enjoys some nice canned pate wet food for breakfast.

Born on February 29, 2017, Dino is FIV positive. However, there`s no need to worry—FIV cats can live long, normal lives; they just have weakened immune systems and need a bit more care. Dino was also found with a large open wound on half of his neck, which has now completely healed, and he is feeling much better.

Despite his tough past, Dino is a total sweetheart. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he reveals his affectionate nature and delightful purr. Dino deserves a quiet, peaceful forever home where he can feel safe and loved after all he`s been through.

If you`d like to give Dino the forever home he deserves, please apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once we process and approve your application, we`ll call to schedule your personal meet and greet. With an approved application, you can even adopt Dino on the same day!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
