My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A (non-cat person) visitor who got to know Stotty in his foster home remarked "I don't know how he doesn't have a home yet, he's amazing and will make someone so happy!" Stotty is indeed a sweet, cuddly, petite older kitten who still has big, curious eyes. He is the perfect mix of love bug, playful kitten, and even hunter! Stotty follows us around the house, loves nap time in a window cat bed, cuddles with us and other cats in the home, and is good with dogs and kids. One of his favorite activities is chasing a ping pong ball across the floor. He has been around 2 foster dogs plus 3 visiting dogs, lots of kid chaos, visitors, strange activities like pumpkin carving, and is happily "in the mix" with all of this.

We are incredibly proud of this little guy, who overcame early trauma in his little kitten life to blossom into a perfect family cat. He would do very well in most homes -- in a quiet home, he will certainly be a loyal companion who would like stay nearby his person/people -- in a busier home, he would enjoy playtime with animal or kid friends. He is 100% litter box trained and rarely makes noise except if he wants a door opened so he can closer to his people! Our hearts are full at the idea that this sweet boy will find his much-deserved forever home.

Stotty Hunter is around 8 months old (as of Nov 2024) and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is curious, playful, and loving.

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
