My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous Siamese mix girl was rescued from a rather precarious situation earlier this spring.  Livia and her sister Leona had both been living on the street as strays but were clearly cared for at some point as they are very friendly toward people.  A Good Samaritan began feeding them regularly and letting them into her house to escape the neighborhood dogs (who had already killed another kitty).   However, once it was discovered that Livia and Leona were pregnant, the Good Samaritan reached out to Texas CARES who found placement for both girls to safely have their babies.

Livia went on to give birth to five beautiful babies and completed her duties as an amazing mom.   Livia is a wonderful, young, spry cat, virtually a kitten herself at just over a year old. She has some very typical Siamese characteristics (yes, her eyes are really that blue!)   She is expressive and uses every tool she has to communicate with you.  There is her sweet, chirpy voice for saying “good morning” or “I missed you!”  Then there are the dexterous paws that she uses to remind you “please, don’t stop petting me”.  Someone taught this kitty how to cat like a pro as she has ALL the tricks to make you melt. She loves, loves, loves to be held and cuddled and belly rubbed.

Livia was very friendly toward the other cats on the street where she was found, especially her sister Leona.  Therefore, she would probably get along with another resident cat given the right introduction. However, she would also be find as a single pet.  Livia is probably not the best fit for a family with young children as she will occasionally nip your arm or sleeve for attention.  She does it very gently but this could be misinterpreted by a young child – Livia does not mean any harm by it and doesn't have a mean bone in her body, this is just truly a ploy to get attention.

Livia is litter box trained, microchipped, spayed, combo tested (negative for FIV and feline leukemia) and up to date on her vaccinations.  This Siamese princess is pure love and joy – if Livia sounds like the kitty you’ve been seeking, please inquire or submit and adoption application today.
