A story from Lyla`s most recent outing!

Meet sweet Lyla - not an alumni yet but could be yours. We took her out to the greenway and Fort Clinch today, and we aren`t sure which one of us had more fun! If you are looking for a hiking buddy, this is your girl! She did great staying on the trails and listening to commands. She`s an extremely intelligent dog and a quick learner. She`s very curious about the world, and she was excited to ride in the car (she wanted a front seat but she understood `in the back`). She did very well when meeting kids and other dogs we encountered. She`s very vocal and high energy at the shelter, and it takes her a little while to be comfortable enough to show affection. Once she feels safe and can relax, she`s a real sweetheart. Please come give sweet Lyla a chance.
