Meet Admiral Ackbar, a kitten with a beautiful shiny black coat and striking amber eyes. Ackbar is a sweet and affectionate kitty, though initially timid. He takes social cues from his sister, Rey, and relies on her to feel secure. Once he trusts you, he'll enjoy playing with wand toys and getting his favorite butt scratches. He prefers to relax in his cat bed or under a blanket where he feels safest. Ackbar and Rey must be adopted together for his well-being. A calm, patient home with adults or older children is ideal for this lovable duo. Admiral Ackbar is FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with vaccinations, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. His birthday is estimated to be around 1/1/2024

Meet the Pet

By-appointment and virtual meet and greets are made with our adoption counselors to meet the cat(s) you are interested in!

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We go over medical information and the adoption contract over the phone. The contract is signed virtually and adoption appointment is set.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Set up everything at home, and bring the adoption donation and a carrier - it's adoption day!

Milltown Adoption Center is open to the public Wed + Fri from 5 - 7 and Sat + Sun from 12 - 4. Private appointments available for approved adopters.

The mission of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
