My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Caroline (caroline@kittenschool.com) for more information about this pet.

Meet Karma! She's a rollicking, one-of-a-kind 2.5-month-old calico girl with a whole lot of spunk and sweetness in one furry little body. Look at those stunning blue eyes! Karma is the self-appointed leader of the fosters and nothing scares her. She's brave and adventurous, but also incredibly loving. This little girl loves being held and will purrr away as you snuggle and kiss her. She is an active, playful kitten and would be great with other cats and dogs (dogs who are good with cats, of course!). But once she's ready to chill, get that lap ready because she adores snuggling too.

Karma  will get a lot of interest so reach out soon if you want to meet her! Please note that the first appropriate adopter who can visit her will have first chance to adopt.

ALREADY IN LOVE? Great! Now please read ALL the info below to proceed:

This kitty is already spayed or neutered, has basic vaccines & blood tests, and is microchipped. Adoption fee is just $40. Adoption application after interaction in foster home will be completed in person at the Orange County Animal Services, near Mall of Millenia.

IMPORTANT: Want to arrange a meet & greet? Awesome! But Do not reply to the button on this listing, I might not receive it! EMAIL ME: Caroline@KittenSchool.com .  We can arrange to visit our foster home located 5 miles south of downtown Orlando to spend time with this kitty in the interactive foster play room! Kitten visits ONLY before 5 pm please.

Reach out DIRECTLY to foster mom Caroline via email: Caroline.St.Clair@KittenSchool.com. Also please let me know a bit about yourself, too, such as if you have children and other pets, to make sure we have a good fit for you and the kitty. Inquiries that provide no info about you and your living/family situation will not be considered.

Before considering adopting a cat, PLEASE be sure that pets are permitted where you leave by checking with your landlord or leasing office if applicable. If you have kids, ensure they are not allergic to cats before you take one home. Thank you for reading through this listing and I look forward to hearing from you!

Additional adoption info

All of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and it is submitted to OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, and they run a BOGO special all year (Adopt 1 kitty get a 2nd for free)!!

The adoption fee for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, testing for feline leukemia, and a Microchip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.

Go meet their pets

You may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent. For more information or to set up an appointment, please email the foster parent listed in the description of the kitten or cat that you are interested in.

More about this rescue

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done.

We also strongly promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines, and attempt to inform the general public regarding the daunting problem of pet overpopulation.
