Brawler's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, traveling all the way from Afghanistan to New York. This big change has left him feeling a bit confused and worried, but who can blame him?

Brawler needs a patient and loving home where he can adjust at his own pace. He's looking for a family who understands that it might take some time for him to fully come out of his shell.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
