My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At the animal shelter, we have Zip, a 5-year-old pup weighing in at 54 lbs. Zip is a friendly companion who gets along with everyone, although he can be a bit selective when it comes to his furry friends. He enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls, although he's not a fan of doing so in hot, 90-degree weather. Zip much prefers the comfort of being indoors, where he can unwind and enjoy binge-watching your favorite shows or simply keeping you company while you play video games. Zip is trained on commands like Sit and walks nicely on a leash. Come visit and let him make you fall in love.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
