My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tapi and her siblings were born to a Great Pyrenees mama who found her way under an old house giving birth on hard rocks and dirt in the heat of May. She did her best but was very weak and scared and despite her best efforts left her babies at 17 days never to return. The finders bottle fed the babies and tried their best, saving all seven but reached out for help from TGPR when things got harder. Tapi is named by South African friends who are helping care for the babies while they find their forever homes.
Tapi is very calm, relaxed, playful, and curious. She loves to wrestle with her sisters and brother and is curious about her big foster sister. She surely has the character of the breed, smart, patient, observant, good natured. She had a rough start in life yet is a happy, well adjusted, easy-going puppy sure to grow into an even more beautiful girl!

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
