This scrumptious pup is sweeter than her name suggests. Poptart is a gentle soul who gets along with everyone—humans, dogs, cats, you name it! She’s a natural swimmer and loves a good splash, making beach days and pool parties a blast.

But wait, there’s more! Poptart has a few tricks up her furry sleeve. She loves to explore new places, making every walk an adventure. And when it comes to snacks? Well, let's just say they’re very welcomed!

Imagine a furry companion who’s always up for a cuddle, a swim, or a new escapade. Poptart is all that and a bag of chips (or rather, dog treats). This gentle girl would be the perfect addition to any family looking for a little extra sweetness in their lives.

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
