Meet RUTHIE!!

This little lovebug is 1 year old and full of sweetness! Ruthie is a professional sidekick who just wants to be wherever you are—whether you’re lounging on the couch or out for an adventure.

Her impressive resume includes:

LOVES toys (she’s quite the collector!)

Ruthie is a social butterfly who adores people and gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats! She’s up to date on all her vetting—spayed, chipped, and fully vaccinated—ready to leap into her forever home.

Her story is tough, but her spirit is unbreakable. Ruthie was abandoned by her previous family, arriving underweight and hungry. Despite it all, she’s blossomed into the sweetest, happiest pup who just needs someone to love her forever.

Submit Application

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

Interview

IF YOU CAN NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION ON OUR SITE PLEASE EMAIL US AT: questions@awishforanimals.org and we will send you an application.

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
