Saffron’s comeback tour begins now! She is a beautiful 4-5 year old medium sized girl returned to us after two years in a home that did not meet her needs. We were told she did not get along with the resident dog and she has scars on her face to support that. She was incredibly shut down when she arrived, but has quickly decompressed and is wagging her tail, smiling, and seeking human affection. She has quickly become a volunteer favorite, and we have no doubt she will find a forever family that will offer her mutual love and affection. We invite you to see this beautiful girl!

The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. They will determine if you and/or your family are a fit and if so, provide instructions for completing the application.

After you have submitted an application and have been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.

We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill shelter operating in Sarpy County, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. We re-home dogs, cats and small critters. We work with dogs that are typically on "death row" and take in dogs from kill shelters in KS, TX, MO and elsewhere, as needed. Our cats usually come from kill shelters with an occasional owner surrender under special circumstances. Critters are found a variety of ways.

We also provide boarding and grooming services at very reasonable rates.
