My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is about 6 months old and probably chihuahua and dachshund mix, a chiweinie. He weighs about 7 pounds and is likely to be under 10 pounds when he is full grown. He has a short sleek reddish tan and white coat. He is very affectionate and wants to be with his people or another dog all the time. He gets along well with the adults in the home and has not been tested with children or cats. I'm guessing with a proper introduction, older children and cats would be fine. We recommend crate training to become fully house broken, but he's not a big fan of the crate. He is pretty vocal when left alone, so a crate away from sleeping humans is recommended. Otherwise crate training is going well. He seems to understand why we are outside when on "potty breaks." He walks surprisingly well on a leash.
