Meet Tahi, the sweetest and most sociable dog you'll ever meet! Tahi is affectionate and is always up for cuddles and quality time spent with her favourite humans. She is very smart and is quick to learn, making her the perfect candidate for basic training. A great way to get on her good side is to give her a toy!

Tahi prefers the company of humans, but could do well with a dog sibling who is chill, and respects her space. Tahi would not do well with cat siblings. Proper introductions, structure and boundaries will be important to maintain a positive relationship

Tahi will need a home that is willing to work on all basic training with her, and teach her the ropes of living in a home environment.

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
