Affectionately nicknamed "Sweet T" by her fosters, Tahi is the sweetest girl. With her goofy personality, she only wants scratches and kisses from her humans!

Tahi enjoys long walks and exploring the outside environment, but also enjoys a big nap and cuddles after all the exercise. She loves spending time with her humans, whether that's being in the same room as them or getting belly rubs.

During walks, Tahi can get so excited that she pulls on her leash, but she's quick to follow your lead once she realizes how you want to walk. She also gets startled by sudden, loud noises, but some reassurance from her humans helps to cheer her back up.

Tahi currently resides with another dog and co-exists well with them. With proper introductions and slow introductions, Tahi should do well with another dog in the home. As Tahi has a prey drive, she would do best in a home without a cat or small animals. She has not met any kids before but is excited when she passes them during her walks. We think with proper intros, structure and boundaries she could do well in a home with human siblings.

Tahi's ideal family will provide her with enough stimulation and physical activity to ensure that she's a happy pup. They would take her on long walks and give her all the cuddles and scratches she deserves. If you're looking for a smart and sweet dog with lots of love to spare, Tahi is the one for you!

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
