My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase and Hunter are brothers who are very loving and caring. Due to a change in their family's circumstances, they are now looking for a new place to live.

Chase has the short tail and is a big baby. He loves other dogs and rolls on the ground to play with every dog he meets and wants to kiss them. This boy is a real lovebug!!

Hunter is a bit less playful than Chase and wants to run around and play with his brother. If he's bored, Hunter may try to dig under the fence to go play or chase squirrels but if he's entertained he is content not to try to escape. Both boys love toys and when they are in the house they love to lay down most of the time. Chase loves to chew on old shoes or plastic but he's growing out of that habit with all the toys we have for them.

Chase and Hunter like to sleep in their cages since they have been trained to do so since they were pups. They had professional training at Petco. They also are neutered and have all their shots. Their current vet is Petco in Kinnelon.

Hunter loves to dig under the fence to go play or Chase squirrels but if he's entertained he is content not to try to escape.

Chase and Hunter are not part of 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping their family network them for a new home. If you would like more info on these adorable brothers, please contact their owner directly at drcarolinenv@gmail.com or at 973-444-2980 - the boys are currently located in Bergen County, NJ.

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
