My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Junior-Rottweiler X male puppy for websites
Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application.
Junior was rescued from a high kill very large city shelter. They take in tens of thousands of animals each year and are daily euthanizing dogs and cats. Junior was 'on that list' when a volunteer of the Rescue rushed to save his life. She is fostering him now and he's learning that life is going to be okay again. He loves walks and plays with all the other dogs. Junior is about 45# and thought to be about 8 mo. Old. He's breeding tells us he'll be a very loyal and loving family member. He will enjoy an active lifestyle and is ready to start living the life he almost lost. Junior's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to request an application from rescuebc@hotmail.com. Please allow 1-2 days to receive the application. Please be patient as we are 100% volunteer supported. We will need several days to make the calls on your application. The current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and annual exams, and currently on heartworm preventative for dogs. You must be 21 years of age and gainfully employed.
Once you are approved, a volunteer will contact you and invite you to a Meet and Greet to visit with a pet. All our pets are fostered in private homes and only come to the event when they have a potential adopter.
Plan to spend 1-2 hours at the Meet and Greet. It takes time to unload our pets and give them an opportunity to relieve themselves. You will have time to visit with a pet to decide if this is the right pet for your family. You will be required to sign a legal contract and we will go over the medical records with you. You will be required to take your new pet to the vet within 7 days of adopting.
We charge an adoption fee for all of our animals. This fee varies depending on the vetting requirements of that particular animal. The adoption fee is cash only.
If you have any questions, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com.

More about this rescue

Rescue BC is a multi-faceted, foster-based rescue. Our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated up to date as age appropriate, dogs over 6 months old are tested for heartworm, puppies/kittens are dewormed.
Our pets are rescued from rural Kentucky shelters that will euthanize if overcrowded. Our rescue helps to prevent overcrowding in the shelters and to help these pets find new homes. If you would be interested in fostering for us please email rescuebc@hotmail.com.
