My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PEACHY

Available for Adoption

Hi there! I'm Peachy, and I'm so excited to meet you! I'm an 8-month-old mixed breed pup with the cutest spots you've ever seen - if I do say so myself! Let me tell you a little about my journey. I came all the way to Chicago from rural Missouri. When I first got here, I was pretty scared of, well, just about everything! But with a little time and lots of love, I've really come out of my shell.

Now, I'll admit I can still be a bit shy when I first meet new people. But don't worry! Give me a little time, and I'll warm up quicker than you can say 'treats'! Once I'm comfortable, you'll see my true spirit shine through.

Want to know when I'm at my happiest? When I'm playing with other dogs! That's when my personality really comes alive. I love to run and play - did I mention I'm super fast? Sometimes I get so excited I break out into what the humans call 'zoomies'. It's just so much fun!

So, what do you say? Are you looking for a sweet, playful pup who'll keep you on your toes? I promise to fill your days with love, laughter, and lots of puppy energy. Come meet me at the shelter, and let's see if we're a perfect match!

I have been spayed and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out a adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey

Love and Licks, Peachy!

Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
