My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star is a lovely lady who was found as stray and stayed with her finder for about a week and half before heading to PACC. While in that home she was reportedly housebroken and was described as a very affectionate girl. She also loves watermelon! During a brief adoption Star was well- behaved when left home alone and was described as smart, affectionate, and playful. She likes car rides and loves being with her humans.

Star is also a field trip regular who loves exploring Tucson!

“We took a day trip with Star and her kennelmate. They were both fabulous on the trip. Star was eager to jump in the car and just needed a little boost of her back end. She was very relaxed in the car and with handling. We’re pretty sure she smelled every single grass blade at the park. She had such a great time. She took treats very gently, loved getting a lot of affection from us, and just wanted to snuggle. Star is eager to explore and would love to be a part of your adventures! Star gets an A++ on her day trip! She is a fun and amazing girl! You will be very lucky adding her to your family!”

“Star is a cuddle bug! Her favorite thing is to get pets from you. She’s great with kids and is very gentle. She knows sit and shake, and lets you know when she needs to go outside to potty.”

Star has been friendly and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Star today!
