My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5630126 Nicko has the most adorable heart shaped nose, a big brown eye patch, and delightfully freckled floppy ears! This young man is equal parts playful and affectionate - he would be equally happy rolling over for belly rubs as he would be romping around the yard with people or other pups.He has also been a volunteer and photographer favorite!  Nicko does best with other medium to large dogs, but is not so picky about his people - he just loves being close and getting love and praise. If you’re looking for the perfect young pup to add to your family, Nicko is definitely your man!

  • 2 year old white and brown Bull Terrier mix

  • 54.8 lbs neutered male

  • UTD on shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today!

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/4/24 as a stray

  • Easy on the leash, both with collaring and walking

  • Shows some signs of potty training

  • Medium energy level - very playful with both people and pups!

  • Great with other dogs, especially medium to large ones

  • Very affectionate and loving, and will seek out the same from his person - loves getting love, especially belly rubs, and praise

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
