My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5630895 Rocky is a pocket sized pup with an Oreo spotted coat that would be the perfect addition to any family! He is equal parts energetic and affectionate, and is very curious about the world around him. However, Rocky is a bit scared at the shelter and could use some confidence building - he would be an excellent little brother to some existing pet siblings! Come visit Rocky and consider adding him to your family today.

  • 3 year old black and white Boston Terrier and Beagle mix

  • 23 lbs neutered male

  • UTD on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today!

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/7/24 as an owner surrender

  • Energetic, curious, and playful

  • Affectionate

  • Easy on the leash, with both collaring and walking

  • Social with other dogs, but could use some confidence building

  • Knows basic commands like sit, but could easily learn more with treats and other motivation!

  • Possibly potty trained

  • Recommended for an adults only household without cats

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
