Sun is a one-year-old cat with a radiant personality that matches her name! Sun is outgoing, adventurous, and curious-always ready to explore and make new friends. She loves every person she meets and will quickly become the heart of your home.

Sun's favorite pastimes include watching birds through the window, sunbathing, and enjoying the breeze by the patio doors. Sun also has lots of young, playful energy which will surely keep her family entertained with her silly antics. Because of her energy levels, we think a younger cat that is tolerable and capable of keeping up with Sun's drive would suit her best.

More about this rescue

High Tails Animal Rescue, NFP is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit animal rescue and welfare organization. We are both volunteer-run and foster-based serving the Greater Chicagoland area and Northern Suburbs of Illinois. Our organization rescues cats of all breeds and ages and finds them permanent homes while helping the occasional dog. We rescue primarily from animal controls and shelters, and assist our established partners with owner abandonment cases and friendly strays. Not only do we save lives, but we are actively committed to advancing the cause of animal welfare. We strive to be an educational resource for families to promote responsible pet ownership. To achieve our mission, we network amongst fosters, volunteers, rescuers, transports, and pet professionals.
