Brenda can't wait to snuggle up with you once you adopt her!

This special girl is a precious and adorable white, long-haired Chihuahua looking for her forever home. She'd make the perfect lap dog as she loves snuggling up and following you around, she's a real velcro dog. She lives in a household with other small dogs and gets along well with them.

She does have a heart murmur, rated 3/6, which is not causing any symptoms and she doesn't take any medications for it. And it doesn't seem to slow her down any.

She would do best in a household of an older person who has the time for her. She is currently 8 years old and weighs a healthy 6.5#

Brenda is crate and potty trained and eats well.

Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Pay Fee

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made through Stripe, PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required. Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
