*** Charlee & Baby Girl are at our Petsmart Aero adoption center. ***
Charlee: black w/white tuft on chest, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 6/30/17, #19066 Baby Girl: black w/white tummy specks, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/30/17, #19067
Cats: bonded pair, okay w/ mellow cats Dogs: unknown Children: do not have experience w/kids
Likely born in a trailer full of bales of hay, Charlee and Baby Girl ended up traveling from Nevada to California as part of the cargo when they were itty-bitty babies and were discovered without a mom during the unloading process. They required bottle feeding and then once weaned moved in with their human dad and lived with him for seven wonderful years. He recently passed away, leaving them bereft and without a home. A family friend who had allergies took them in as a short-term measure while reaching for rescue help. They moved into The Rescue House, and though they have managed to pick themselves up to begin the search for new people to belong with, they are still reeling from the loss of their guardian and know only the security of a forever home can heal the holes in their hearts.
---With his sleek black fur and sparkling eyes, Charlee is the morning ambassador-there to greet you when you wake. A strong believer in the power of a good leg rub, it's his way of saying, "Hey, let's start this day right!" Then, he will proceed to weave between your legs, purring like a finely tuned engine. Charlee isn't all about morning rituals, though. With energy to spare, he is a boundless reservoir of curiosity! His favorite game is "Explore Everything," and he will investigate every nook, cranny, and forgotten corner. When he discovers something particularly fascinating (like a stray paperclip or dust bunny), he'll bat it around with the intensity of a scientist unraveling the mysteries of quantum physics! ---Let's talk about Baby Girl! Her favorite perch is the windowsill where she'll sit like a vigilant sentinel, surveying her kingdom. Passersby on the other side of the window are met with her silent hisses-a warning to stay away from her domain. Of course, they don't hear her, but that doesn't stop her from asserting her authority. Baby Girl also has a secret talent. When you toss her stuffed mouse, she'll leap into action, paws outstretched, and retrieve it with surprising grace. She'll trot back, tail held high, as if to say, "See? I'm not just a fierce protector-I'm also an Olympic athlete!" And when playtime is over, she'll curl up on your lap, her purr vibrating through your bones. Baby Girl has mastered the art of love on her terms, and time with her is precious! ***Charlee and Baby Girl MUST be adopted together.
Charlee and Baby Girl love each other and seem to be doing okay with other mellow cats (though rambunctious kittens can be a bit much). We don't know their thoughts on dogs or children.
Will you consider adopting Charlee and Baby Girl? They'll greet you at the door, share their cozy hiding spots, and fill your life with laughter and love! Charlee will be your inquisitive sidekick, and Baby Girl will be your fierce protector, your fetch champion, and your lap warmer. Together, they'll weave their magic into your days, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories!
