"My three favorite things about Exodus are: (1) his goofy instincts that make him one of the most reliable reasons I laugh on a quiet day at home; (2) how much personality and variety he has with the days where he's just so excited to be alive and do all he can do as well as the days where he's so happy to just be with you and mellow out; (3) how trainable he really is-- he brings 110% of his energy to everything he does, but given the right structure and rewards, he is really responsive and obedient. It just takes time to help him understand what exactly you/your family need from him."
This boy is looking for a family who is just as excited about his toy carrot as he is! He's a guy who loves a schedule, a toy (or five) and a snuggle on the couch at the end of the day. If he sounds perfect for you, come on in and meet him today!
This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!
Interested in meeting Exodus? Great! To help set him and his adopter up for success, potential adopters who are a good fit will meet with a member of our Behavior or Animal Care leadership team to discuss the dog's needs and make a great match! To learn more and to inquire about arranging a visit, check in with our Customer Care Staff at the front desk, email us at animalshelter@fairfaxcounty.gov, or call 703-830-1100 (Michael R. Frey Campus) or 703-324-0299 (Lorton Campus) and let us know you would like to meet Exodus!
