Hiya! My name is Squash, your purr-fect mellow but playful kitten companion! My 2 sisters are Clover & Mochi. I’m an orange tabby boy, with lots of stripes all over & a perfect little “M” on my forehead! I’m about 12 weeks old and have light green eyes, and I’m great at using my litter box, if I do say so myself. My days are filled with lots of cuddles, purrs & tailing my favorite humans all around the house! I enjoy having another kitty around to play with - I’ve grown up with my two sisters all of my life & love to play! If not another kitty, then definitely a human companion or family who is home pretty often! My foster parents would describe me as energetic but also very chill once I’m all done playing! I am really good around new people & I’m also great with kids & know how to be gentle. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy full of love, orange stripes & a goofy personality, then I’m definitely your match!

We also have cats online on our website or adoptapet.org. Some cats may be in foster care, but we can arrange to have the available to meet

Submit Application

If you'd like to adopt a cat or kitten, great. We love finding them forever homes. Complete an online application on oue website

3.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we will ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal aoption fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

More about this rescue

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
