Hey there! My name is Mochi, & I'm a ball of energy always ready to explore & play. My brother & sister's names are Squash & Clover. I am a gray/light brown & white female tabby with pretty hazel eyes. I am about 12 weeks old & I'm a pro at using my litterbox! When I'm not exploring or meowing at my humans, I'm kneading away, making the fluffiest imaginary biscuits you've ever seen. And when all the excitement of the day wears me down, I'm all about the cuddles. I'll curl up with you on my favorite blanket and purr my heart out. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can share all my love, energy, and biscuits. I would love to have my sister or brother be adopted out with me, but as long as I'm in an environment where I don't have to be alone too often, I think I would be just fine! Why should you adopt me? Well, I'm full of life, love, and endless entertainment & laughter. My foster parents tell me I keep them entertained on the daily with my constant zoomies! So, what do you say?

We also have cats online on our website or adoptapet.org. Some cats may be in foster care, but we can arrange to have the available to meet

Submit Application

If you'd like to adopt a cat or kitten, great. We love finding them forever homes. Complete an online application on oue website

3.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we will ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal aoption fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

More about this rescue

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
