Merriweather is friendly, loyal, precious and has a slightly spunky personality. She runs and plays with any kitty toy and then cuddles with her human companion. Merriweather admires watching nature from a windowsill and takes to exploring and investigating her surroundings. She is inquisitive and curious and likes to climb up to high places. You may find Merriweather napping or relaxing in the sunshine. She takes delight in snacks and treats. Merriweather prefers her paws on the floor but will snuggle with you on the couch. Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Merriweather should be fine with other cats and a cat-friendly dog with a proper introduction. She is solid black with a shiny medium length coat. As of August 2024, Merriweather is 4 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
