My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Maisy! I was rescued in Tijuana with 8 other kittens. I have had some chronic breathing sounds ever since I was rescued as a little kitten, which may be from an old sinus infection and may always be somewhat present. But I'm a very playful, purry, and friendly kitten! I just might take a little time to warm up to you. I get along with other cats and I'm a little chatterbox when it's treat time. I can't wait to find my forever home!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
