Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Remy, a young, vibrant soul bursting with energy and curiosity. This playful, excitable youngster is always ready for a game of fetch or a power walk around the block, thanks to his leash training. Remy is not just all fun and games, though he thinks he is. He likes car rides, fetch, running, tugging, TOYS!, walks, and water. He thinks he`s a retriever and will catch a tossed toy. He`s also incredibly obedient, always eager to please his human friends. His favorite command is fetch but he also knows come, no, down, and a bunch of unusual commands - calm, eat, water, outside, wait, toys, bed, night night, & lay down. When it comes to other dogs and cats Remy`s, excitement knows no bounds. His activity level and intense desire to play, play, play is aggravating to other animals so he`ll need to be in a home without cats because he`ll drive them nuts and your dog will have to meet him to be sure he isn`t too much. He has been returned to the shelter five times because of his activity level and behavior around other pets. One owner who kept him for two months because she returned him said he had calmed down a smidgen as long as he has a variety of toys. He only weighs 11 pounds but his activity level is too much for little kids so he`ll need to live in a household with children at least 12 years old. He is still working on house training but does know how to use puppy pads. Despite his high energy, Remy also has a needy side. He thrives on attention and companionship and never wants to be alone which makes him a perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend. Adopt Remy and fill your home with love, laughter, and endless playtime. (tw 11/22/2024)
