Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Philmene is a female 6-week-old mix of something, we wish we could tell you and currently weighing in at 6 pounds. Philmene, and her siblings were all born in a shelter on May 1, 2024, as a total surprise to the shelter staff. Mom and all six babies were taken into the rescue and now six weeks later are available for adoption with a go home date of June 28^th.

Philmene is one of 5 girls, and she is the only dark brown one. She is your typical puppy and is learning how to play with her four other sisters and one brother. We are unable to tell you how big she will get as dad(s) are unknown, but mom, Paulette, who is also available, will be around 30 pounds.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
