Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Billy, a three-year-old black mixed breed pup, is a delightful and cheerful canine companion. Billy loves other dogs and has a rough and rowdy play style. He is very housebroken - and will start to circle and tell you when he needs to go out. He knows sit, stay, paw and is being taught to sit and allow his human to go through door before being invites. Billy loves to go on runs and walks and can easily do 3-4 miles. But he also loves couch time.
Billy needs slow intros when meeting new people. It does not take long - normally a few blueberries or high value treats and 10 minutes and he is sold. He warms up to women quicker than men.

More about this shelter
At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
