This helps Austin Siamese Rescue with pet care costs.
Ella is a beautiful lynx point Siamese. She was discovered in Houston with a litter of kittens and not only did she nurture and raise her own litter, but she took on the role of surrogate mother to two additional litters of orphaned kittens caring for them as her own. And now that all the kittens are on their own it is time for Ella to find her own loving home.
Ella would prefer a home with either a single feline companion or a solo canine friend, or she would be equally happy as the only cat in the household. Before being rescued, Ella was forced to fend for herself on the streets, leading to a difficult and uncertain existence, which made it challenging for her to trust humans. Since entering foster care, Ella has made significant progress, beginning to initiate contact with her foster mom and attention and affections, although she still experiences moments of anxiety.
Although she still struggles with anxiety, it is clear that she loves being petted and showered with attention, and with patience and time she will form a deep bond with her future family, eventually becoming a loving an loyal companion once she settles into her forever home.
