My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing ACE, a very sweet and friendly, 3 year old, 25-30 pound, Beagle. This fun male pup gets along with other dogs and LOVES people, big and small, and has been OK with cats. Ace enjoys playing tug and chase with a little Terrier/Chihuahua mix in his foster home, as well as the other dogs in his foster home. He also enjoys spending time investigating and keeping watch over the yard.

True to most Beagles, Ace loves food and is always looking for something to eat. Because he has occasionally grabbed something that doesn't belong to him and tries to chews on it Ace is easily crated when his foster family leaves the house; this sweet boy will benefit from additional basic training to improve his house manners.

This snuggle-bug sleeps in his foster mom’s bed at night. Ace enjoys going for walks and happily greets any dog or person he meets. The kids in his foster home said “Ace is chill!” Because of his great nature, we’d love to see Ace get adopted into a household with another dog. He will also require a more active adopter to take him for daily walks.

This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, received inoculations, been tested for Heartworm Disease and tick diseases, plus neutered and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available by request from acaringplace@comcast.net.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
