Born 02/16/23, this handsome boy has gorgeous, gray, bengal-like markings.  A Nashville man kindly snatched Leo out of his apartment parking lot, and welcomed him into his home.  Leo quickly buddied up with the resident cat, however, the man was not allowed to keep two cats.  Leo was surrendered to CCR, and he definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first month or two, but all this boy needed was love, hugs, kisses, and a safe place to blossom.  And blossom he has!  It has been rewarding to watch him thrive!  Calling all lovers of large boy cats!  Yes, YOU!  Are you seeking the comfort from hugging that lovable lump of a cat?   Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case!  It is as if Leo realizes he is not the adorable little perky kitten that seems to always disappear from the kitty room.  To pass the time, waiting for his forever home, Leo enjoys playing with the 2 year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag, climbing up to the top shelf on the wall.  Once there, Leo enjoys watching the birds outside the window, and soon dreams about chasing them.  Leo has mastered the art of relaxing and napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  But his favorite pastime is getting picked up, and placed on his mom’s shoulder, or next to her lap.  Oh boy!  Head scratches!  Leo cannot get enough of them.  He so responds to his foster mom’s praise, Good Boy, Leo!  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  You had me at Good Boy!  Leo can barely contain himself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  He is soon a large lump of love.  All 11 pounds of muscle.  Well, almost all muscle.  Have you arrived to save the day?  Leo will more than reward you for taking a chance on him!  Show him the loving!  You had him at hello, or more so, “Good Boy, Leo”!  Leo will complete YOU!
