The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!
LYRIC was turned into the shelter as a stray kitten. They got her fixed, clipped her ear and were going to return her to the area where they found her. But the man who runs the TNR program decided to call us instead. And we picked her up that day. We took her to our foster where she has lived with her 2 foster sisters BELLA MAE and HAILEY STORM.
Meet LYRIC, a kitten with a heart full of curiosity and playfulness. Despite her timid nature, she is brave and isn't afraid to explore new corners of her world. LYRIC's independent spirit is complemented by her sweet, gentle demeanor. She may hide when she's scared, but with patience, her goofy personality shines through.
LYRIC shyness is just a part of her charm, and once she warms up to you, she'll show you her playful side. LYRIC is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Her unique blend of independence and sweetness makes her the perfect companion for anyone willing to give her the time and love she deserves.
BELLA MAE is EGYPTIAN MAU / DOMESTIC SHORT-HAIR MIX. She is 10 months and is good with cats. She lives with a dog and a young child.

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

NOVEMBER 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
