My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️
💟Available to fly to LAX💟

Meet Tree 🌳
Tree was discovered living in an industrial yard where she gave birth to Eunhaeng and her siblings. The workers at the yard fed her, but one day, Eunhaeng was hit by a car and urgently rescued by Adogs. Tree was subsequently taken to a shelter. Eunhaeng has since been adopted by a family living in Abbotsford, BC, and fortunately, Tree was also rescued and is now receiving care at ADOGS Center.

* Interaction with People: Tree is affectionate with familiar people, often approaching for patting. She is shy around strangers due to limited socialization.
* Interaction with Dogs: She plays better with male dogs and may show aggression towards similarly sized female dogs. She is shy around new dogs.

* Separation Anxiety: None; she manages well alone.
* Potty Training: Currently living in ADOGS center, Tree only practices outdoor potty.
* Hygiene: Unfamiliar with baths and nail trimming but is learning.
* Walking: Unfamiliar with walking on a leash, gradually being introduced to it.

*Health Status: Finished treatment for heartworm infection. Re-check is needed on January 2025

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
