My name is Max!

Max is an 8 year old friendly dog. He loves laying in the sun and eating dog cookies! He is a gentle giant and he always gets up to greet you with his tail wagging. We like to say he’s bilingual because he understands many commands in English and Spanish. He has been a great, loyal companion to my elderly parents for a very long time. Recently they had to move from a rented house to an apartment and while my parents wanted to continue caring for him, it has grown to difficult for them. They had a large yard in the previous residence and didn’t really take him in walks, so he is not leash trained. Now it is too dangerous for them to walk him because he is so strong and they have to go down stairs to get to the grass. We love him very much and want to see him go to a good and loving home that can give him the care he deserves.
