My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Apply for cats at www.carmah.org
All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.

I'm Arbie. I'm a sweet boy. I love scratches and massages -- see the video clip. I'll follow you around the house and rub against  your legs. I love couch time. When I see you headed in that direction, I'll sprint over there so I can hang out with you. I also enjoy treats and toy wands. I can be quite rambunctious and after playing a little, I get the zoomies! I would like to live in a quieter home. Older respectful children would be fine.

I am FIV-postive which shouldn't be a worry. I can live with other cats and will need slow introductions. It is perfectly safe to mix FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats without any risk.

Also, I have been overeating - silly me. You'll need to help me limit my food intake - ask my foster for guidance.

I am 5 years old and healthy.  The volunteers at carmah have become very attached to me and want to see me live out my happily ever after. I have years worth of love to give. Can I give it to you?

More about this rescue

Our all-volunteer feline rescue group is non-profit and no-kill. We have served the Metrowest area of MA since 2002. We care for many of our cats in foster homes and often show cats at the Hudson MA Petsmart. For cats that cannot be placed in homes, we have an active TNR program - Trap-Neuter-Release - and a barn placement program for working cats.
We welcome new volunteers and donations! See our website, https://www.carmah.org/ for more information.
