My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.
See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU

'KURO is an indoor 3 y.o. black short-haired male cat. He is small in size, his weight would be around 8 lbs. He likes to sleep under the blankets, he is very affectionate and friendly, quiet, very clean and healthy. He is potty trained, and he does well when bathing. He is neutered already and has all his vaccines done; he had his Vet who was taking care of him. He likes to purr a lot, and he comes when you call him by his name, responding with a short purr, he is a very vocal kitty. His character is very stable, and he has a lot of energy to play, he is like still a kitten in his mind. He is looking for a new Family and Home currently, hopefully for  happily ever after. His former Owner could not take him with them when they moved because the new place did not accept pets.
KURO was with them since he was a kitten. Now, we are trying to find the best for this lovely furry kid. Please let us know if you would like to add KURO to your family, he would be a great companion for you and other pets, he is super friendly and cool with people and other pets'.

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
