My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To adopt from East Coast Maine Coon Rescue (ECMCR) please fill out our adoption application which can be found on our website: http://www.ecmcr.org/form_adoption_application.php

Hi cat friends! I’m Poppy! I have a little more black on me along with beautiful swirls of color on my sides.
And I’m Daisy! I’m a traditional tabby and a little lighter in color than my sweet sister. We are looking for our forever home together if at all possible.
If not, our hope would be to go to a home with another friendly feline because we are used to being around cats. We’ve never been around dogs so not sure if we would like that or not. Our rescuer tells us that we had a difficult beginning but has promised us a happily ever after ending. Yay! We were dumped out at a feed/seed mill and left to our own devices to try to survive. (we also have two brothers, .so all 4 of us were dumped out) It was horrible there….no food or water and we were so scared. Once we were safe and sound at our rescuer’s home, we were able to climb up and cuddle and give little kitty kisses and loud purrs! We just love laps and being held and petted. We want people to know how grateful we are to have been saved and to now have a chance to live the life we were meant to live.   We also have so much fun playing hide and seek with each other as well as playing with wand toys, balls with bells that we can bat around, and we also love chasing around that little laser light!
We are both pretty low-key kittens. (if there is such a thing as a low-key kitten) We have energy, but not too much. Our rescuer tells we are very healthy and have been fully vetted and are ready for our next adventure…..a forever home! This sounds magnificent!!! We would love to give you snuggles and lots of kitty love and make really special memories with you….lots of pictures and tons of happiness! You know what’s great about having two of us? Well, you can split a can of cat food with none leftover to refrigerate-haha, but the main thing is we will always have a friend and playmate around when you can’t be with us! How nice is that? Thank you for reading our story. We are in NC, but we can travel for the purrfect forever home. If you are interested in learning more about us, please email Gina at  taffycatrescuer@gmail.com .
Purrs,
Daisy and Poppy
