Brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 1/1/23, #19020
Cats: good solo, unknown w/others Dogs: probably not Children: gentle kids okay
A very pregnant cat was found by some residents of a North County neighborhood; since they had seen other kitties in that area disappear due to coyotes, the residents decided Catalina needed new digs where she could safely have her babies. They reached out to The Rescue House, and we took her in just in the nick of time: she delivered just two days later! Now that her babies are grown, it's time for Catalina to find a loving forever home.
Outgoing and confident, Catalina is loving and extremely friendly with everyone she meets. She is a very sweet and chill kitty who is always up for pets and affection, yet is also able to be independent. Catalina is easily picked up, handled, and will sit on your lap appreciatively. S he loves to greet you and will let you know that it is time to give her some pets and head scratches. Although she is an adult, she still loves to play with wand toys. Pull one out and she will pounce and leap like a kitten! She also loves cat trees and gazing out windows. Catalina is a very mellow and easygoing cat who would fit in well to almost any household.
In foster care, Catalina was busy raising her kittens and didn't have the opportunity to meet other dogs or cats, though she did growl at dogs she spotted walking by the window. She would be happy as a solo kitty if you are able to give her enough love and attention. Catalina was very sweet and gentle with respectful children.
This mama kitty doted on her kittens and is searching for a home where she can be cared for and cherished. Do you have room in your home and heart to welcome Catalina in... forever?
