Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Lola. I am a five-year-old, apricot colored pug. I am a gentle pug with a heart of gold. My foster mom tells me I approach my days with a perfect blend of gentleness and engagement. I love to be in the middle of what is going on, be involved in the fun, yet I am content to observe, follow along, and don’t need to be in charge. I am shy, but not introverted or solitary. I love belly rubs, laying out in the green grass, and exploring the yard. I would do well in a home as an only pet OR as a companion for other calmer dog(s). Sometimes the very high energy dogs cause me to sit back and stay out of the way. I don’t mind cats and they don’t mind me. I love hanging out with my humans; snuggles and pets are top notch! In the house, I like to carry around a toy, share a cozy bed with the calmer dogs, and just chill. At night, I like to cuddle and like to take a toy to bed. I prefer to eat in private; I am not possessive of my food, I am just shy when eating. I am careful to sniff and check out any treats. My foster mom says I am not as food motivated as other pugs. She wonders how I gained some of the weight I have. (I do have some pounds to lose, and am working on that.) Sometimes I like some private time in a crate by myself. After that, I like to be back with my humans. I am a bit scared of stairs. I am working on that too and am doing very well. I am potty trained. I have had a few potty accidents, but my foster mom thinks that is only due to my gentle nature and adjusting to a new environment. I have been left at home alone for several hours with no accidents and can be trusted to be a “good girl.” My foster mom tells me many families would be lucky to adopt me! Lola is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Lola’s adoption fee is $325.00.
