Meet Princess Chickie Koala an AKC registered shih tzu. Chickie is a young and spirited dog who craves attention. Used to being an only dog, she has adapted extremely well to our pack, giving off big dog energy playing with her foster brothers and sisters. Chickie will thrive in a home where she can get regular exercise and play. She enjoys a little game of fetch, tug-o-war, and chase. During her downtime, Chickie wants to sit in your lap and sleep with you in bed. Chickie does snore so don't say we didn't tell you so.

More about this rescue

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away in 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue - so here we are.

Flying B provides rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in the Ellis County and surrounding areas.
