Foster Notes:
Meet my new foster named Meeko. Vets believe Meeko is a Bichon Frise mix about 7 years old and about 12 Lbs. He was found wandering the streets and was severely matted. He has been with me a few days and is surprisingly brave with my dogs but very sad and a bit scared. He must have had a great home initially, as he is fully house trained, knows a doggy door and gets along well with all my other dogs. Unfortunately, Meeko was not chipped and no one showed up to claim him at PACC and thus was subsequently released to foster care with SAFE Animal Rescue of Tucson and ultimately to me. I doubt I will have him very long as he is super cute and looks like a mix of puppy and leopard. He is one of the nicest Fosters I've ever met. He eats well, loves car rides and going for walks. A real winner for sure. Meeko was diagnosed with chronic benign hamartoma, and significant age-related joint changes in kneecaps so a Health Wavier will be required at time of adoption.
