My name is Tofu!

Hi all,

Tofu was adopted from the Austin Animal Shelter. She was a stray and needed a home. I adopted her during my second year in University when I had a lot of time to take care of her. I intended to give a her a forever home.

Fast forward to now, I’ve recently graduated and moved to the DFW area and because of the nature of my job and financial issues I cannot provide enough time or care for her as I would like. I leave for work really early in the morning and come home at night leaving her alone almost the entire day. I feel like she is not getting the love and care that she deserves.

A little bit about Tofu: she is a healthy cat with a nuanced personality. She loves scratching at her scratch pad, Bird watching, fetching for treats, and sleeping. She is a shy cat who can be startled really easily and it takes time to build trust with her, but once she gets to know you she is really affectionate while needing her personal space.

She does not like other animals.
