Happy Summer Y'all! My name is Oscar and I'm a handsome 5yr old black/white male German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville, TN and am available for transport to my forever home!

My previous owner surrendered me to a high kill shelter because I didn't want to go outside to potty. It is hotter than hell's front porch outside! Can you blame me for not wanting to go out very often? I never had accidents inside either! I just took my time going outside. Thankfully the rescue pulled me from being euthanized.

Here are 6 fun facts about me & my ideal home!

1. I'm an absolute SWEETHEART! Super loving, goofy, and I want to be treated like a big baby!

2. I am CAT FRIENDLY!! I've heard this is a HUGE plus in big doggos. If you have a kitty at home, we will be best buds!

3. I'm friendly and would do well with other large female dogs. It's best I be the only male in the home, better to be safe! I need another pup in the home for companionship and to be my best friend.

4. I love exploring in the yard and would love to help you garden! I hope you have a yard for me to run and explore in too.

5. Some of my favorite activities are taking walks, watching action movies, playing with toys, being an expert dish-washer in the kitchen, porch sitting, and following my favorite human around.

6. I'd like to remind you that it does take some time for me to adjust to a new home. My previous home wasn't patient with me and didn't give me time to decompress and learn my new routine. Please be patient with me and love me, I'm such a good boy!

7. I deserve a family or person that will love me and all my quirks! I hope that perfect family is out there and can help me live my best life!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
