Happy Summer Y'all! My name is Mojo and I'm a handsome 4yr old black and tan male German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville, TN and am available for transport to my forever home!
I was found chained to a truck outside without adequate food, water, or shelter. I don't know what I did to deserve that kind of life but thankfully IDGSR welcomed me in and is making sure I find the loving home I deserve!
Here are 8 fun facts about me & my ideal home!
1. I'm an absolute SWEETHEART! Considering my sad prior life, I am resilient, friendly, and am adjusting to love and continuous care.
2. I love getting to run and play in the yard. If you adopt me, I need to have a fenced in backyard to play in!
3. I play GREAT with other female dogs! No male dogs, cats, or small dogs please.
4. If you have kids in your home, it would be best if they are over 10yrs old.
5. I dream of being able to go on walks, hikes, car rides, and explore different patios with my forever hooman.
6. Some of my favorite things are Western movies, 70s rock music, pretending I'm on great adventures while in the backyard, and making sure my foster mom gives me extra treats when I give her my best 'puppy eyes' look.
7. I am house trained and don't need to be kenneled! I don't tear anything up. I could use an obedience training refresher but overall I'm a lovely young man.
8. I've never lived the good life & I'm hoping that once you adopt me I can live my best life!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
